Support Shepherds of Good Hope’s greatest needs.

Shepherds of Good Hope is on the front line of the toxic drug crisis, the housing and homelessness crisis, and the rise of poverty in the City of Ottawa. We serve thousands of people each year who come to us in their time of need. Shepherds of Good Hope provides innovative programs and services that serve homeless and vulnerable people who live with trauma, struggle with mental health challenges, and addictions.

We’re there from the first time someone walks through our doors hungry, cold, and alone. And we’re there for their successes; from reconnecting to their family and to the resources they need, to moving into permanent homes with supports and leaving the shelter system behind for a brighter future

Please support someone who needs your help today. Without you, none of our work is possible.

MEET LIZ & ALBERT

When Liz’s dad, Albert, was only ten years old, he lost his mom and suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident. This loss would change his life forever. As he tried to cope with the trauma of his past, it led him to spend time in and out of shelters throughout Liz’s entire life.

Liz is grateful that Albert found himself at the doors of Shepherds of Good Hope. Shepherds helped Albert find stability and, in doing so, allowed them to reconnect. Better yet, it has given Liz the greatest gift of all, a new relationship with her dad!
